Program Description	The Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI & DS) department was started in the year 2021 for PG and 2022 for UG. AI & DS is a new, exponentially emerging field which consists of a set of tools and techniques used to extract useful information from data. AI & DS is a fast growing discipline and is full of rigorous practical analysis.The main focus of the department is to produce graduates & post graduates with strong fundamentals in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science domain. The course of study is outcome based education with choice based credit system to help students to achieve their goal. The department has a total of 7 teaching faculty members with various specializations, out of which 3 are Ph.D holders and 2 are pursuing Ph.D. Faculties in the department have outstanding teaching experience. Curricula of both undergraduate and postgraduate programs have been designed through a collaboration of academic and industry experts in order to bridge the growing gap between industry and academia. This makes the program highly practical-oriented, and thus industry-resilient. The B.Tech program aims to create quality human resources to play leading roles in the contemporary, competitive industrial and corporate world. The masters’ degrees focus on quality research and design in the core and application areas of computing to build a sustainable world and to enhance the global quality of life by adopting enhanced design techniques and applications. This thought is reflected in the various courses offered in the masters’ programs.
Admission & entry requirements	Students should have passed PUC science with a minimum of 45%
