Program Description The Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) is a professional undergraduate degree programme in Homoeopathy that provides comprehensive knowledge of homoeopathic medical science along with basic medical sciences and clinical training. The programme includes subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Community Medicine, and Homoeopathic Materia Medica, Organon of Medicine, and Repertory. The course is designed to train students to become competent homoeopathic physicians capable of providing preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare services through the principles of homoeopathy. The programme also includes a compulsory rotatory internship for practical clinical exposure.
Admission & entry requirements Candidate must have passed 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the regulatory authority. Admission shall be granted based on NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) and in accordance with the norms of National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) / Government / University.
