| Program Description |
The B.Sc. in Optometry is a 4-year undergraduate program (3 years academic + 1-year clinical internship) designed to train students in the examination, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and disorders of the visual system.
The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical training in:
Anatomy and Physiology of the Eye
Optics and Refraction
Ocular Diseases
Contact Lens and Dispensing Optics
Low Vision Aids and Rehabilitation
Vision Therapy and Binocular Vision
Community and Public Health Optometry
Graduates can work in hospitals, eye care clinics, optical retail chains, or pursue higher studies and research in the field.
