| Program Description |
The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is a 4-year undergraduate degree focused on the science of physical movement and the prevention, diagnosis, and rehabilitation of physical dysfunctions. The course trains students to assess and treat patients with physical impairments or disabilities through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and patient education. It covers subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics, Pathology, Orthopedics, Neurology, and Rehabilitation. The program also includes clinical postings and a mandatory 6-month rotatory internship in hospitals or rehabilitation centers to develop practical skills.
