| Program Description |
The Department of Physiotherapy is committed to provide quality education, training and professional consultation services in the field of physiotherapy. Physiotherapy being an integral part of healthcare system is a much sought after profession and the demand of trained as well as specialized Physiotherapists has grown exponentially in recent years. Bachelor of Physiotherapy course covers medical subjects like Anatomy & Physiology, General Medicine etc. as well as core Physiotherapy subjects like Physiotherapy in orthopedic conditions, Electrotherapy, Biomechanics and Kinesiology etc. The Students undergo clinical training from Department O.P.D. and other multi-speciality hospitals from 3rd year onwards. Students are required to complete six months clinical Internship after completion of four years course work. During the program students are trained to assess, diagnose and provide necessary treatment and rehabilitation to the patients. The Master of Physiotherapy course curriculum has been designed to give highly specialized training to the students in their respective fields of specialization along with Clinical Postings and Dissertation work.

| Admission & entry requirements |
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (four and half years course) with at least 50% marks (47.5% for SC candidates of Haryana) from GJUS&T, Hisar or examination recognized as equivalent thereto by GJUS&T, Hisar and should have also completed their Six Months Compulsory Internship from a recognized Institution/ Hospital. and Students are admitted to the course through entrance examintion conducted by university.
