Program Description	M.Sc. (Economics) is a two year (4 semesters) programme with a special focus to groom the students to pursue careers in teaching, research and consultancy assignments. The course contents help in preparing the students to understand the trends and pattern of the financial and economic data. The programme mainly concentrates on imparting the essential knowledge and analytical skills required for conducting the analysis of economic, financial, health, and population and demographic data. The students are trained to prepare and write scientific reports, articles and policy documents.
Admission & entry requirements	A candidate with atleast 50% marks (47.5% for SC candidates of Haryana) from a recognized University/ Institute with Economics or Mathematics as one of the subjects at under graduate programme or with Mathematics as one of the subjects in class XII. And Students are admitted to the course through entrance examination conducted by university.
