Program Description	Civil Engineering is the broadest of the engineering fields. Civil Engineering focuses on infrastructure which includes Water works, Sewers, Dams, Power Plants, Transmission Towers/Lines, Railroads, Highways, Bridges, Tunnels, Irrigation Canals, River Navigation, Shipping Canals, Traffic Control, Mass Transit, Airport Runways, Terminals, Industrial Plant Buildings, Skyscrapers, etc. Among the important subdivisions of the field are structural engineering, water resources engineering, transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering and environmental engineering. Civil engineers craft world’s infrastructure. With the boom in infrastructure development the demand for civil engineers remains ever high.
Admission & entry requirements	Minimum Eligibility Criteria • Passed Higher Secondary School Leaving Examination (or equivalent) with 45% of the aggregate and 45% of the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics • JEE(Mains), any State Entrance Test or the Don Bosco University Graduate Entrance Test
