Under the 4-year B.Tech in Information Technology Programme, the IT academicians prepare students to learn to programme in a higher-level language, work effectively with a client and members of a software development team to analyse specify design implement test and document software that meets the client s needs. It also prepares students to acquire new computer-related skills independently as technologies evolve communicate technical concepts to non-technical persons, develop a plan to integrate hardware and software into a particular environment and conduct themselves in an ethical and professional manner.
Students who wish to continue studies after completion of their B.Tech. in IT degree can pursue M.Tech. Degree in Information Technology, PG Diploma in Information Technology, M.Sc. in Information Technology, a Certification course in embedded technology, VLSI, robotics, ethical hacking, etc.

| Admission & entry requirements |
Admission to B.Tech. Program will be based on All India Rank prepared by CBSE based
on performance of the applicant in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) Examination 2019 and also the
applicant must be declared eligible for Central Counselling by the CBSE.
The admission to B.Tech. program will be done through Joint Admission Counselling
(jointly organized by DTU, NSUT, IIITD & IGDTUW). For more details and any update

updated brochure.
85% of the total seats are reserved for applicants belonging to Delhi Region (Students
passing the qualifying examination from recognized Board / College / Institution located
within the NCT of Delhi) and 15% of the total seats for applicants belonging to outside
Delhi Region.
